Toy workshop

I just got back from Frankfurt Book fair (which I will write more on later) where I held a kids workshop. Each kid was suppose to make their own Lost toy; create them, give them a name and a place where they were found, and then the toys would become part of my Lost Property installation.

I had made some shapes in preparation, and below is a little guide to the different steps.
Very optimistic thinking from my part, as we didnt have much time in the end for the workshop... But it was a wonderful, slightly chaotic, fun rumble of sewing, cutting, gluing, lots of sign language (the kids were german school kids, and my german is limited to say the least:) and racing time. But we had a laugh and at least we didnt get bored:)  Kids are just the most wonderful, appreciative little creatures to work with.
